Archer Ceramics is a small pottery studio based in Oak Park, IL, and represents my work as a ceramicist. Architecture forms and surface textures influence my efforts, creating timeless, functional ware, elevating the everyday experience. All my pottery is handcrafted in stoneware, thrown on the wheel and glazed with much care and consideration.

With a background in design, I focus on the materiality of the clay in combination with finishes and form that feeds my creative process. I work with a range of clay bodies and firing methods that contribute to my aesthetic expression.

You will find slight imperfections and marks, which speaks to the creation process, contributing to the uniqueness and beauty of the forms and ultimately becomes part of the individualized character expressed by each piece.
